Dear Oakton students, staff, parents and community members,
The Occurrence, Oakton College’s official newspaper, has been dormant since May 11, 2023. This is a result of the previous advisor retiring. Editor and reporter positions are open. Those interested in joining should see the contact listed provided below. The goal of this new staff heading into the ‘24 spring semester is to re establish the web page and publish at least one print issue before the start of the summer term. We apologize for the hiatus but appreciate your time and patience.
