What are the best simple ways to enrich your cat’s life? Four Oakton student cat owners ranked five of these ideas.

• Share herbs you’d use for cooking like basil, dill and rosemary with your cat for them to eat (making sure they are non-toxic for cats.) Cat grass and catnip also are enjoyable. 
• Give them a cardboard box to hide/sleep in. 
• Get a bird feeder outside your home for the cats to watch the birds. 
• Rearrange furniture so they can jump and climb it. 
• Teach them tricks with food rewards.
