If you go: Wrigley Field Cubs Game

WHO: Avid Cubs fans from all over the city travel to Wrigley Field to watch the Chicago Cubs play.

WHAT: This is the perfect event for Oakton students to experience the city while supporting their local major league baseball team.

WHEN: The Chicago Cubs play home games all summer long ranging from April to September.

WHERE: Wrigley Field is a Major League Baseball stadium located on the North Side of Chicago located at 1060 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60613. It is located in a primarily residential neighborhood.

WHY: Wrigley Field is known for its ivy-covered brick outfield wall, the unusual wind patterns off Lake Michigan, and the hand-turned scoreboard. Wrigley Field is an iconic baseball stadium having been open for over 100 years.

How to get there: I strongly advise students to take some sort of public transportation. Taking the yellow line from Skokie Swift to Howard and then taking the red line to Addison is the most cost-effective and time-effective way to get there. If students choose to drive, be advised that parking is scarce.

Important Information: Wrigley Field is a cashless baseball stadium. Also, backpacks, hard-sided coolers, and bags larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches are NOT permitted at Wrigley Field.
