Discover all that Oakton has to offer during Feb. 13 information session

Prospective students of all ages are invited to visit Oakton Community College and learn why it’s the ideal place to start or continue a college education during an information session starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in the Student Center at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.

Tour the campus and learn about Oakton’s academic and career programs, services and student clubs. Talk with admission and financial aid representatives as well as current students to discover all the college has to offer.

Oakton was named to the 2019 list of the top 50 best value colleges in the nation, according to valuecolleges.com, based on cost, return on investment, reputation and availability of online programs.

Students can earn an associate degree choosing from 80 areas of study ranging from health careers, science and technology to business and liberal arts. Whether transferring to a four-year institution or starting a career, convenient courses help students expand their options and prepare for a better future.

No matter the course of study, Oakton offers easy access to classes and student services. In addition to convenient campus locations in Des Plaines and Skokie (7701 N. Lincoln Ave.), the college offers many online courses.
