Pros Of Asynchronous:

Can wake up at any given time of the day

Can sleep at any given time of the day

Can “go to class” at any given time of day

Work at your own pace

Revisit and study class material easily

Cons Of Asynchronous:

Can forget to do assignments

You are more likely to procrastinate

Don’t feel the community of a classroom

No friends in class

Can be tedious

Classes can become more difficult due to the lack of hands on learning

Feels like a job

Honorlock is annoying

Pros Of Synchronous Online:

Can see your teachers and classmates somewhat

You can go to class in your pajamas every day

Classroom in the comfort of your own home

Don’t have to drive to school

Cons Of Synchronous Online:

Audio issues online

Connectivity Issues

You might have to show your face on screen at all times

Someone at your house can interrupt your class at any time

Still have to do all the same things as asynchronous classes while attending lectures

Pros Of In Person Classes

Can talk to your friends in the halls

Meet new people

Library and cafeteria are available to students

Hand on learning

Vocational classes are more accessible

Cons Of In Person Classes

Might have to wake up early

Spend money on gas or take the bus to get to school

Missing class becomes much more detrimental to you if the course material is not online

Fear of covid

You might dislike masks

Introverted personalities might have trouble readjusting
