On Friday, November 17, 2019 Oakton art and music students’ works were featured in a show held in the Student Center. The Oakton student string ensemble played various pieces while other musicians were featured as solo artists. Student Francisco Sosa was the featured soloist on guitar. Jason Nelson student of the Oakton Six Piano Ensemble under the direction of Glenna Sprague was the featured soloist on piano. The Art of Music/the Music of Art show also featured student originated paintings, graphic art, sculptures, photographs and ceramics.
